Notice of Joint Directive to CNSOER regarding administrative requirements pertaining to the issuance of an Exploration Licence

(Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada) – On May 26, 2026, the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Energy Regulator (CNSOER) received a Joint Directive regarding administrative requirements pertaining to the issuance of an Exploration Licence from the Honourable Tim Hodgson, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Government of Canada, and the Honourable Tim Houston, Minister of Energy and Premier, Government of Nova Scotia.  

This Joint Directive applies immediately and until further notice, and to all future Exploration Licences, including petroleum-related Call for Bids NS25-1P.
