Notice of Joint Directive to CNSOER regarding the effective date of Exploration Licences

(Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada) – On August 5, 2026, the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Energy Regulator (CNSOER) received a Joint Directive regarding the effective date of Exploration Licences from the Honourable Tim Hodgson, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Government of Canada, and the Honourable Marco MacLeod, Minister of Energy, Government of Nova Scotia.  

This Joint Directive applies immediately and until further notice, and to all future Exploration Licences, including petroleum-related Call for Bids NS25-1P.
