Notice of Strategic Direction Respecting Offshore Wind Call for Bids

On September 18, 2025, the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Energy Regulator (CNSOER) received joint Strategic Direction from the Government of Canada and the Government of Nova Scotia to formally initiate the process to issue a Call for Bids for offshore wind within the Canada-Nova Scotia offshore area. 

The Strategic Direction letter from the Honourable Tim Hodgson, Canada's Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, the Honourable Tim Houston, Premier of Nova Scotia, and the Honourable Trevor Boudreau, Nova Scotia's Minister of Energy, to the CNSOER is provided below:
