Updated Code of Practice “Transportation by Helicopter to or from a Workplace in the Atlantic Canada Offshore Petroleum Industry, 2025 (CoP-TH)”

The updated Code of Practice “Transportation by Helicopter to or from a Workplace in the Atlantic Canada Offshore Petroleum Industry,  2025 (CoP-TH)” has been published. 

The CoP-TH provides practical and consistent information regarding occupational health and safety best practices, standards, and legislation for transportation of passengers by helicopter to and from workplaces in the NS offshore area. This update to the CoP-TH addresses recent changes to the CNSOER’s regulatory framework and organization name. 

The CoP-TH is considered a Code of Practice under sections 210.016 and 210.021 of the Accord Act, and the CNSOER’s Chief Safety Officer requires Operators and Employers to adopt this Code of Practice for their workplaces during authorized activities.
